General Information About the Bank  
   
  The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established in accordance with the Law adopted at the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 20 June 1997. The Central Bank started its operation on 11 August 1997.

BH Credit Rating  
   
  On September 19, 2014, rating agency Standard & Poor’s has affirmed sovereign credit rating on Bosnia and Herzegovina at „B with stable outlook“.

The EBRD Visited the CBBH
Sarajevo 21.11.2014.
Director of the Western Balkans Office in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Holger Muent and recently appointed Director of the EBRD Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina Ian Brown visited the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), where they had a meeting with the Governor Kemal Kozarić, Ph.D. and his associates.

Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) Kemal Kozarić, Ph. D., has met today, in inaugural visit, with Principal Deputy High Representative and Supervisor of Brčko District, Ambassador H. E. Mr. David M. Robinson, who has expressed the full support of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) to the work of the CBBH.

Meeting of the BH Standing Committee on Financial Stability

On 5 June 2014, in Sarajevo, the meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial Stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held, where, among other things, the proposal about potential measures within the financial sector was discussed in order to help clients who have been affected by natural disaster in May.
