After the expiration of the replacement period in commercial banks, the replacement will be performed by the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina within a period of 10 years, starting from January 1, 2026, and ending on December 31, 2035. The Central Bank exchanges out-of-circulation banknotes in denominations of 10 KM, 20 KM, 50 KM and 100 KM in accordance with the Decision on the procedure and method of exchanging convertible mark banknotes that have been withdrawn from circulation - in local languages only.
