Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro in an Official Visit to the Central Bank of BH

On April 22, 2016, in Sarajevo, the Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), Senad Softić, Ph.D. has met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Milojica Dakić, M. Sc., in an official visit. 

Two Governors talked about the activities and work of the central banks and exchanged the information from the last Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank that took place last week in Washington. Also, the Governors talked about the situation on financial markets in the context of central banks' operations and investing of foreign exchange reserves in complex conditions of investing having in mind the trend of negative interest rates. 

Governor Softić informed Governor Dakić about the activities that the new managing structure of the CBBH implements with the aim to improve the business operations and organization of the CBBH, as well as about the current situation in the financial and banking sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Governor Dakić invited Governor Softić to attend the Summit of the Governors and Ministers of Finance of the Region which will take place in the beginning of June in Miločer.
