Technical paper: Macroeconomic Model for Short and Mid term Forecasting for Bosnia and Herzegovina

The CBBH has developed a semi-structural model for medium-term macroeconomic projections in 2020. Projections are made and published, twice a year for a three-year horizon. The technical paper, published through the CBBH Call for submission of the research papers (link for Call for papers Download complete document (PDF)) shares with experts and the general public, the structure of the original model, and the first results of empirical research.
We are convinced that detailed technical insight into the equations, and the relations between standard macroeconomic blocks in BH, will further clarify to the users of our projections, those which we publish in light of the assumed relations between the variables. We believe that this approach will strengthen the interaction between the CBBH and the users of our projections.
Due to its international character and targeted authors, but also the users of published research, the Call for papers is published in English. Papers are also submitted in English (link for tehnical paper https://www.cbbh.ba/Content/Archive/1141).
