Gabriele Derighetti. On this occasion, the long-standing successful cooperation between the CBBH and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) was highlighted, within the framework of the Bilateral Aid and Capacity Building Program of Central Banks, which is financed by the Government of Switzerland. This program, which is implemented in partnership with the Institute for International Studies from Geneva, has been contributing to strengthening the institutional capacities of the CBBH for ten years. The signed agreement on the implementation of the third phase of the program, for the period from 2023 to 2028, focuses on improving monetary policy, managing foreign exchange reserves, and implementing research strategies aligned with European Union standards. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening financial stability, improving statistical capacities, improving communication with the public and developing resilience and risk management. Governor Selimović expressed her gratitude for the continuous support, emphasizing the importance of this partnership in the preparations for the future membership of the CBBH in the community of EU Central Banks. "Achieving European standards in monetary policy and financial stability requires significant efforts, and the support of the Government of Switzerland is of inestimable importance on this path," emphasized the Governor of the CBBH. Ambassador Derighetti praised the previous cooperation with the CBBH and expressed his belief that the upcoming phase of the program will be as successful as the previous ones. He also supported the engagement of officials in the CBBH, whose professional development was additionally strengthened through Swiss education and experience exchange programs. This continuation of successful cooperation confirms the commitment of both parties to achieving European standards and strengthening the capacities of the CBBH, which represents an important step towards the European integration of BH.
