At the meeting, they exchanged the information on the legal and financial consequences of this arbitration proceeding, especially in the context of the threat to the assets of the CBBH, based on the judgment of the Municipal Court in Mostar, as well as the potential threat to the stability of the Central Bank, and the monetary and financial stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the meeting, the Governor of the CBBH, Jasmina Selimović, Ph.D. presented to the members of the Joint Commission a retrospective of the known facts on this case, emphasizing that the CBBH is not a party in these proceedings and that, through the Attorney General's Office of BH, the CB BH filed a plea to the decision of the Municipal Court in Mostar on the seizure of the CBBH assets in this city and so within the legally prescribed deadline. Governor Selimović emphasized the determination of the CBBH authorities to protect the institution's assets and preserve the monetary and financial stability of the state. The Governor also reiterated the unified position of all members of the CBBH Governing Board not to pay out a portion of the realized profit in the amount of KM 244,306,831.96 to the account of BH Ministry of Finance and Treasury, based on the provisions of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as long as, she emphasized, there is a possibility of jeopardizing the assets of the CBBH, and thus the stability of this institution, as well as the monetary and financial stability of BH. Members of the Joint Commission for Economic Reforms and Development of the BHPA expressed their unreserved support for the decisions of the CBBH and its management, and emphasized the need to fully investigate the entire case, through serious, urgent and efficient engagement of the Prosecutor's Office of BH and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BH, and to adequately punish those responsible for potential corruption, inaction and negligent work.
