The basic indicator of the currency board stability, the coverage ratio, has been increased to the historically highest level of 110.6%. The Bank's capital and reserves have increased to KM 1.72 billion, which is higher by KM 528 million compared to the previous year. During the current term of office of the new CBBH management, the record high amounts of net profit have been achieved, of which the CBBH net profit for 2025 amounts to KM 289.77 million, significantly exceeding the plan for the current year. After the transfer of profit to the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2026, the CBBH will pay more funds to the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina in these three years of the term of office than in the entire history of the CBBH existence so far. These are very significant contributions, with the transferred profit of the CBBH in 2025 alone representing 17 per cents of the total revenues in the budget of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time, in 2025, the CBBH further strengthened its position through the increase of monetary gold reserves, which reached a record level of 3.5 tons with a total value of KM 799 million, representing the highest level since the establishment of the CBBH. The foundations have been laid for the improvement of payment systems through intensive digitization and modernization of the infrastructure, having the continuous harmonization with the standards and practices of the European Union. Bećirović congratulated Governor Selimović and the CBBH on the achieved results, pointing out that the CBBH represents one of the key institutions for the stability of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that its independence is extremely important for the overall economic and financial system. Bećirović said that the Presidency of BIH unanimously made a decision on the appointment of the current management of the CBBH, respecting the legal criteria, and especially the criterion of expertise. Time has shown that it was the right decision, as evidenced by the results achieved in the last two years. At the end of the meeting, Bećirović wished the Governor, management and employees of the CBBH a successful continuation of work, with the aim of strengthening the economic stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
